API 6-3/4 inch Vibratory shock downhole motor
The Vibratory shock downhole motor, also known as the torsional impact vibroscrew, is a device used in oil and gas drilling, whose working principle is to assist the drill bit in improving the rock-breaking efficiency by periodically applying torsional impacts and reducing the occurrence of the 'jam-slip' phenomenon.

Specifically, the Vibratory shock downhole motor is equipped with an increase device, when the drilling fluid flows through the device, it will form a circuit in the bottom axial venturi path, downstream radial path, top axial path and radial rotor path, which will generate periodic pressure changes. This pressure variation causes the rotor to move radially within the rotor retaining ring, which in turn generates a high-frequency, low-amplitude torsional impact force.

In addition, the special design of the water cap inlet holes in the driveshaft assembly contributes to the shock effect. When the water cap inlet hole rotates to the flow blocking baffle, it will be partially covered by the baffle, making the total inlet area of the water cap smaller, thus further increasing the pressure fluctuation.

This high-frequency, low-amplitude torsional impact can provide additional power to the drill bit, helping it to break up rock more effectively and increase drilling speed and efficiency. At the same time, it can also reduce the bit's 'stuck-slip' phenomenon and prolong the service life of the bit.
